Where it all started
Steve's story on how iRise came about is one that will amaze you! Born in Ireland, he’s been an Australia resident since 2006 and for the five (5) years prior to that, he was living in Germany and spent as much of his spare time training & competing in Ultra Distance Mountain Racing.
Developed out of necessity
That’s where iRise comes into the picture. You see, when Steve was competing, he was running continual distances between 100 - 200 Kilometres and upwards of 25 to 30 hours per race.
Long story short…. after a race had finished, he needed to find a way to replenish & recover as quick as possible. So from here, he started to research, test, trial & ended up hiring some experts help him develop iRise & he had a solution to his problem…. The Smart Drink was created!
What does that have to do with alcohol? Quite simple really, the recovery process for your body after a long distance race is not too dissimilar after a big night out drinking alcohol.
Here’s how you use it
First & foremost, if you know that you’re in for a big night, for the best outcome, consume one 100ml bottle before you start drinking and a second after you’ve finished drinking (just before you go to bed).
You can drink it straight from the bottle - on ice, mix it with whiskey, gin or any style of spirit or cocktail for that matter!
